When studying cosmetology, you will gain knowledge and skills in the following areas:

  • safety and effectiveness of beauty, care and treatment procedures that are within the competence of a cosmetologist;
  • knowledge of the types, applications, effects and methods of manufacturing and applying cosmetic products available on the market;
  • professional skin diagnostics, providing individual cosmetology advice;
  • reading cosmetic formulas and describing the composition of cosmetic products.

A graduate of cosmetology studies can find employment in:

  • cosmetic parlours,
  • wellness and spa salons,
  • cosmetic companies (cosmetic distribution and sales departments, as well as training and quality control),
  • laboratories conducting cosmetic product effectiveness tests,
  • cosmetology schools;
  • editorial offices of professional magazines that cover the issues of cosmetology and cosmetics.

After receiving an e-mail confirming the admission for studies, the candidate must sign an agreement on the terms of payment for studies at the Office of the Admissions Team within the specified deadline.

Required documents
First cycle studies (Bachelor and Engineer)

1) application with the candidate’s handwritten signature (to be printed from the admissions system)
2) a photocopy of the matriculation certificate (the Matura certificate – original available for inspection) or the International Baccalaureate or the European Baccalaureate/or other document equivalent to the Polish Matura certificate in accordance with the qualifier https://kwalifikator.nawa.gov.pl/
3) apostille or legalization of the secondary school leaving certificate (does not apply to citizens of Ukraine)
4) certificate from a doctor in occupational medicine
5) proof of payment:

    • for issuing a student ID card – PLN 22
    • application fee – PLN 150
    • registration fee (covering the cost of purchasing protective clothing) – PLN 250

6) sworn translations for all documents prepared in a language other than Polish
7) a statement of the legal representative signed by the parents/legal guardians of the Candidate along with a photocopy of the birth certificate (optional) – only if the Candidate is under 18 years of age at the time of submitting the documents,
8) power of attorney (optional) – in a situation where the Candidate authorizes a representative to submit documents and collect the certificate on his or her behalf

Underage candidates submit a power of attorney using a different document template.
