Second-cycle studies can be undertaken by a graduate of first-cycle studies at COSMETOLOGY.

Graduates of other fields of study may begin their studies if the leading discipline is: medical sciences, physical education sciences, health sciences, medical biology.

In the case of graduates of courses not assigned to the above disciplines, who have professional experience and have completed formal/ non-formal education in the field of cosmetology, it is possible to apply for admission to second-cycle studies under the major bioesthetic cosmetology. 

In this situation, each application is considered individually and requires submission of additional documents:

  1. an application to the Rector regarding consent to admission to studies based on previous professional experience and completed formal/non-formal education;
  2. a copy of the certificate of completion of postgraduate studies in a field that allows for the acquisition of partial qualifications at level 6 or 7 of the Polish Qualifications Framework in the field of cosmetology;
  3. certificates of professional experience in the field of cosmetology [at least 3 years];
  4. copies of certificates of completed courses/trainings in the field of care/beauty cosmetology/ cosmetology with the use of equipment [at least 10].

Graduates of these majors are required to complete a REMEDIAL COURSE against payment, which takes place before the start of the first semester of education on the principles specified in the relevant regulation of the Chancellor.

When studying cosmetology, you will gain knowledge and skills in the following areas:

BIOESTHETIC COSMETOLOGY MAJOR:

  • specialist diagnostics, necessary to determine the indications and contraindications for performing procedures in the field of cosmetology and related fields;
  • non-invasive and invasive methods used to correct skin imperfections and its appendages;
  • assessment of the type and intensity of biophysical processes occurring in cells and tissues during a cosmetic procedure using physical factors;
  • designing treatment procedures that support the maintenance of the effects of procedures performed by other specialists;
  • assessment of the customer’s aesthetic needs and selection of the correct procedure to restore the desired appearance.

A graduate of cosmetology studies can find employment in:

  • cosmetic parlours,
  • wellness and spa salons,
  • cosmetic companies (cosmetic distribution and sales departments, as well as training and quality control),
  • laboratories conducting cosmetic product effectiveness tests,
  • cosmetology schools;
  • editorial offices of professional magazines that cover the issues of cosmetology and cosmetics.

After receiving an e-mail confirming the admission for studies, the candidate must sign an agreement on the terms of payment for studies at the Office of the Admissions Team within the specified deadline.

Required documents
Second cycle studies (Master’s)

1) application with the candidate’s handwritten signature (to be printed from the admissions system)
2) photocopy of the higher education diploma with a supplement/transcript of records (original available for inspection)
3) apostille or legalization of the secondary school leaving certificate (does not apply to citizens of Ukraine)
4) certificate from a doctor in occupational medicine
5) proof of payment:

    • for issuing a student ID card – PLN 22
    • application fee – PLN 150
    • registration fee (covering the cost of purchasing protective clothing) – PLN 250

6) sworn translations for all documents prepared in a language other than Polish
7) power of attorney (optional) – in a situation where the Candidate authorizes a representative to submit documents and collect the certificate on his or her behalf
